Das Bezirksamt Prenzlauer Berg hat uns nach 14 Jahren eine unbefristet erteilte Genehmigung entzogen. Damit muss das ICON zum 01.01.2011 schließen.
14 Jahre Clubkultur und Subkultur...
14 Jahre Förderung unterschiedlichster elektronischer Musikstile...
14 Jahre Plattform für nationale und internationale Künstler...
14 Jahre Prenzlauer Berg...
...weg!
Wir möchten durch eine Designaktion darauf aufmerksam machen, dass CLUB auch Kultur ist, Menschen verbindet und vernetzt, Kunst und Kreativität fördert. Davon profitiert die Stadt Berlin. Nur ein kreatives Umfeld macht Berlin zur Metropole.
Helft und designt ein A1-Plakat.
Alle eingereichten Motive werden mit Namen des Künstlers in verschiedenen Bildergalerien auf unserer Website, auf Myspace und Facebook veröffentlicht sowie zum Download bereitgestellt.
Ihr wählt danach die besten drei Plakate. Die werden gedruckt und in Berlin plakatiert.
Einzige Vorgabe ist die Verwendung des Claims: SAVE YOUR ICON

DESIGN CAMPAIGN TO RESCUE THE ICON!
Calling all graphic designers and other artists. Please support us. We need your commitment to save the ICON.
The district of Prenzlauer Berg has withdrawn an unlimited authorization granted to the ICON after 14 years. Therefore, the ICON has to close on 01/01/2011.
14 years club culture and subculture...
14 years promoting various electronic music styles...
14 years platform for national and international artists...
14 years Prenzlauer Berg...
...all gone!
We want to design a campaign to point out that a Club is also culture, connects people and links art and creativity. This benefits the city of Berlin. Only a creative environment makes Berlin a metropolis.
Help and Design a "A1 poster".
All works submitted will be published with the name of the artist in various picture galleries on our website, on Myspace and Facebook, and will also be available for download.
Then you select and vote the best three posters. These will be printed and posted up in Berlin.
The only requirement is the use of the Claim: SAVE YOUR ICON
